Science Teacher

Salary: MPS1-6 plus SEN allowance in line with STPCD (This would also be suitable for an NQT)

We are seeking to appoint a passionate and highly effective Science teacher to work within our team of staff providing education for vulnerable young people within the East Riding of Yorkshire.

The successful candidate will work under the direction of our Director of Learning.  This will include teaching different groups of students, co-ordinating the curriculum and supporting with pastoral care.  You will have a proven track record of exceptional practice across a key curriculum area with recent experience across at least two Key Stages. Experience within this type of provision is preferred but is not essential as training will be provided through our comprehensive professional development programme.

Learning Support Officer

ERYC Grade 5 (£19,698 full time equivalent) Fixed term until 31 December 2022, Part-time. 3 days per week (21 hours). Days and working pattern negotiable.

The Hub School is an inclusive learning community.  We provide education for children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH).  The curriculum is designed to support children to become independent, confident and thriving learners in our modern world. 

We are looking to appoint a Learning Support Officer (LSO) to support children with SEMH.  LSO’s play a vital role in the success of the school, supporting teaching and learning and the development of skills to ensure progress for all.

The ideal candidate will be an effective team player who has a positive approach to engaging young people and supporting their learning.

LSO’s will be required to attend INSET days when they arise and to undertake the necessary training appropriate to the role which will include physical intervention training.
