Off-Site Education
The Off-Site Education team as part of the Hub School commission full time educational placements for Key Stage 4 learners with a number of providers across the East Riding and Hull. The team work with fifteen mainstream and alternative provision providers. We have provided information below and links to find out more about the provider and the curriculum offer.
We are currently working with a wide range of providers as follows:
- ARK Alternative Education Provision is a Hull based provision offering Functional Skills qualifications in Englis and maths as well as Personal Development and Well being.
- Bay Learning Academy in Hull provides functional skills qualifications in English and maths as well as courses on Health and Social care and Creative Design
- Beautique Learning and Training Academy is an alternative provision based in Willerby offering Level 1 qualifications in Hair and Beauty and courses on individual beauty treatments.
- Developing Futures in Doncaster offers qualifications in Small Animal Care as well as functional skills and units on substance misuse, healthy eating, history and work skills.
- Enhancement Training is a well-established alternative provision in Doncaster offering qualifications in Construction and Mechanics as well as functional skills English and Maths and units on substance misuse, healthy eating, history and work skills.
- Future Pathways CiC is an alternative provision based in Doncaster offering English and Maths, level one qualification s in catering, boxing and sports, beauty and art and media
- Higher Rhythm is a learning provider in Doncaster offering an Arts award and BTEC in music Technology.
- Local Works is a Hull based alternative education provider offering BTEC level 1 certificate and diploma in Sport.
- Motorvation Training is a Hull based provider offering level 1 award/ certificate/ diploma in Automotive maintenance, level 2 diploma in Vehicle inspection and level 3 diploma in light vehicle maintenance.
- Orchard Training and Education in Hull specialises in the field of construction. It offers level 1 award/ certificate in multi-trade construction. Bricklaying aand carpentry and joinery.
- QPD is a Hull based alternative education provide aiming at preparation for armed forces entry. They offer NCFE level 1 and 2 diplomas in the Uniformed Services
- St Patricks for Alter Education is a Hull based alternative education provider giving students the opportunity to study entry level, level 1 and level 2 functional skills in English and maths.
- Vision Motor Training in Beverley offers qualifications in motor vehicle maintenance up to level 2 as well as an entry level diploma titled Introduction to the Motor Vehicle Industry and technologies.
- Vulcan Centre is a hull based provider offering level 1 general cookery as well as skills for employment, training and personal development at level 1 and level 2. This includes courses on sport and fitness, cookery, construction and hair and beauty.
There are currently 4 Learning Mentors working with students and providers as part of the OSE provision. Each student is allocated to a Mentor depending on their placement. Each Mentor maintains close communication with the student, home and placement throughout the duration of the placement.
